Why Should I Transfer My Videos To DVD?

• For starters, the easiest question to answer is "Why should I transfer my old videos and tapes to DVD?"  Obviously, the first reason is for the ease of use.  It's much easier to watch a DVD and jump around to the sections you want, than it is to watch a tape--especially if you have to dust off your old camcorder to do it. 
• Secondly, as technology moves further into the future, and everything turns digital, it will become increasingly harder and expensive to access those older tapes.  As you've probably noticed, its geting harder and harder to find VCRs, and nearly impossible to find something to play those old camcorder tapes. 
• Lastly, you should transfer your videos to DVD to keep them protected.  Your old tapes are slowing dieing.  Unlike Digital Video, your old analog tapes continually lose quality over the years, as well as everytime you play them.  Quality DVD's, if stored correctly, can last many Decades (some say up to 100 years).  They're very easy to backup as well, just put them in the DVD drive of your computer, and copy the files--its that simple!

Why Should I Have You Do it, Instead of Doing it Myself?

• Because of the expertise.  Who should you trust more then a computer nerd / AV Geek?  Not only do I know incredible amounts about this technology, but I'm passionate about it.  It was my hobby for years and I enjoy doing it.  I do all the work myself, so you're assured its done by someone who knows what he's doing, not an employee who took a basic training course.  You can trust I'll know what I'm doing.
• Possibly more importantly, this is a very confusing topic--Most people don't even know where to start.  Trying to figure this out on your own can take weeks, and a bottle of tylenol, and you still may not get it down all the way.  You don't have to go through all the frustrations, confusions, worry, and doubt, trust me instead.
• Your other reason is cost.  Doing it yourself will still cost you a fair amount.  At the very very least (with minimal quality and shoddy appearance) you'll need a DVD recorder, which are usually in the range of $100 or more, Discs, and cases, piling up to quite the heft price tag.  If you want to do it well, you'll also need software, powerful computer, hardware, quality packaging, etc, which could lead to a few hundred dollars.  I offer high quality equipment, and the best materials, and I use hundreds of dollars worth of specialized software.  Plus, I'll give you a better looking package than a home project.
• Lastly, is time.  The time it takes to put a library of home movies, or other videos, to DVD is vast, and that's if you know exactly what your doing.  You're not paying only for my expertise, my equipment, or high quality materials, you're paying me for the time you don't have to waste.  Take it from a self-taught man, this is a very confusing field of technology, and consumes huge amounts of time if you don't know it inside and out.

• Superior Customer Service.  Contact your normal everyday company, you'll get an automatic e-mail response, or a machine will "direct you" to the apprioriate people, and more often than not, you'll end up talking with a "representative" from the other side of the world, or someone who knows absolutely nothing about what you need, besides whats in their manual.  Thats IF you can contact them outside of placing your order.  I, however, will always answer your questions, and make myself as available for your questions as I can,  Not only that, but you can talk with me IN PERSON.  Sure beats filling out a form on the internet.  All transactions are done in-person.
• I'm local.  One of the biggest fears people have about these services, is they don't know if they can trust these online Video Services, which are based halfway across the country.  Do you feel safe mailing your precious unreplacable movies through the mail?  How about the fact that you must pay for shipping there, and back, as well as seperate shipping for your DVDs.  Those shipping costs can really add up for something that's not part of your service.  The risk of loss or damage isn't a big bonus either
