Video Transfer Options

Included In Your Project
If you're ready to get your videos transfered so you can have them edited, and menus designed, I charge you the fee listed below, and we move on to the next step in making your own DVDs.
$4 per 30 minutes
- $15 per 2 hour tape
- $40 per 6 hour VHS tape (broken into 3 2 hour segments)

Don't know whats on your tapes? It can be hard to determine what to name movies, how and where to edit them, what pictures to use, and if you even want them, if you dont know whats on them! Instead of risking it, I can make temporary viewable dvd's of any of your content, For Just $1 (yes, theres a catch, but it will still only cost you $1 in the end). I can provide you with a no-menu DVD with 5 min chapter points, so you can watch and make notes. Then when you know what you want, we can start your project. These discs are the most basic of DVD's, labeled merely by marker.
$4 Deposit so you don't take advantage of my generosity (this goes towards your project)
$15 per 2 hour tape ($4 per 30 minutes rounded up) for one DVD --This is your transfer fee for the entire project
$1 per DVD
$20 is your total Cost, $19 of which is transfered to your project. Meaning you only pay $1 to preview your content, as long as you stay with my service. While the transfer fee isn't refundable if you don't want to keep whats on the tape, the $4 deposit is applied to your entire purchase, no matter what tapes you use.
I keep your movie files on hand for 1 day for each preview DVD you get (with a minimal of 3 days). So you can take your time in deciding. After this deadline, the preview DVD's will be required.
*NOTE* For Projects with over 25 hours of content, you will be required to bring your discs back in, because I cannot keep the the large amount of disc space used by the movies, for such a long period of time.
Transfer To a Hard Drives - Do It Yourself
Think you know enough about video editing and DVD authoring to do it yourself? Rather spend hours a day designing and creating your perfect vision of a DVD? Just a DIY kind of guy? Well, I can cater to you too! I can use my equipment to transfer your tapes to a hard drive you provide, in Either Mpeg2 (DVD Format - Approximately 4.3g per 2 hours) or as AVI Files (Uncompressed video format - Approximately 14g per hour). Make sure your harddrive is formatted NFST (FAT32 does not support the large file sizes of these movies).
$4 30 minute segment
$15 2 hour tape
$40 6 hour VHS Tape
If you chose this option so you could do your own video editing, you can still bring back your video if you would like me to work on your DVD Menus, or burn and create your actual DVDs.

Transfer Un-Authored Videos To a Data DVD Disc
This is similar to the Transfer To a Hard Drive offer, except you need to pay extra for the DVD material and the burning process. This is offered only in Mpeg2, and all Video is put on the disc as a Data File (un-authored, won't work in your DVD player).
$15 2 hour tape
$40 6 hour VHS Tape
If you chose this option so you could do your own video editing, you can still bring back your video if you would like me to work on your DVD Menus, or burn and create your actual DVDs.
