If you want to refine your movies, add transition effects between scenes, add text overlays on sections of your movie, delete clips, re-arrange clips, or anything similar to this that would change your movie, then that would be Video Editing. Here I allow you to mold your movie and smooth the edges for a much cleaner impressive looking experience.
I have divided my main Video Editing Options into 2 categories, options that allow you to break you movie into multiple clips, segments, or seperate movies, called Video Clip Options, and options that work primarily with the beggining and ending of Scenes (or Chapters), called Video Scene Options. Like always though, you are not restricted to any of this, it is just a way to organize and display my basic services. Feel free to Contact Me with request or questions, if what you want or are dreaming of isn't here.
Video Clip Options
Where does it say that whats on your tapes has to be copied exactly as is to your DVD? I let you break your movie into "clips" so that you can arrange them, remove them, or seperate them as you desire. Heres a short list of common reasons to chop your movie into clips. Remember that all movies must be 2 hours or shorter.
To cut out and remove sections of your movie. Wether its a short couple of seconds of static, commercial breaks, or an entire scene, if you don't want it, you don't need to have it!
To rearrange sections of your movie(s). Perhaps you didn't like the order your clips are in. Maybe you want all the clips of a certain theme (like christmas, beaches, sports, etc) to be put together. Whatever order you like, is the order you get!
To merge movies. Maybe you want to make a "best of" movie, or you want to clump all clips of a certain theme together that are across multiple movies.
To divide your movie into multiple movies. This works great if you have TV episodes, or just want to divide your large 2 hour movie into their own segments.
Video Scene Options
Not only can you shape your movie by Video Clips, you can do finer detailed work as well. These options focus around Scenes (or Chapters). For starters, you can add your own chapter points when and where you want them. Then we can add special effects, such as transitions and text. Heres some more details:
- Decide where you want your chapter points to be, so you can skip forward and back to them. These are usually placed at new scenes in your movie, such as new recording sessions. These also make up your Scene Selection Menus, in your DVD Menus
- Take those sharp annoying cuts in your movie between scenes, and turn them into flowing transitions, using scene transitions. You can have scenes fade in and out, scroll out of the way of each other, Dissolve into each other, and many many more options. This makes a very noticable difference between your original recording and your finished movie
- You can add text to your movie as well. Come up with a short description, and its size, and it can be displayed over your movie for a short period of time (usually 2-10 seconds). These work best at the start of a new scene to describe what and when it is, but can be used anywhere throughout your movie. No longer do you have to read the print on the back of the case to remember what your watching.
Pricing is currently in adjustment, Please call or write me for details. Simple Video Clip Options will usually run $1-$2, while Video Scene Options are usually slightly more.
